1980 – 1989
1981: Campbell Hausfeld produces the first consumer high pressure washer
1983: PowerPal, the first oilless, hand-held consumer air compressor and the PaintPal powered paint roller are introduced.
1983: The company enters a joint venture with Iwata Compressor Manufacturing Company Ltd. of Tokyo to market POWEREX air compressors.
1984: Mt. Juliet, TN facility opens.
